The Repair Shed ethos
In this day and age, too many items are discarded and replaced without the effort being made to repair them to prolong their life. Some items are almost considered to be 'disposable' which makes little sense for the environment or our pockets!
I like to take the time and the effort to make sure that both modern and vintage items are inspected, repaired and checked over before being handed back to the owner.
Wherever possible, genuine replacement parts are used and if they are no longer available the next best option will be acquired and/or made in-house.

Furniture repairs
As a joiner, I can repair and refinish most items of furniture as sympathetically as possible
Small kitchen appliance repair
Toasters, food mixers and kettles are just some of the domestic electrical items I can repair
Vacuum cleaner repair
I can repair most of the leading manufacturers of vacuum cleaners. All genuine parts are used wherever possible
Power tool repair & service
I can service and repair most leading brands of power tools. All genuine parts are used wherever possible
Toy repairs
If you or your child has a beloved, broken toy bring it to me and I'll see if I can bring it back to life for you
Paint spraying
I can offer a full surface preparation and spraying service for furniture.
